Open Call 6th edition - Les Arcs Film Festival & Trieste Film Festival

We are looking for young journalists for this edition at Les Arcs Film Festival 2026 (France) and Trieste Film Festival 2027 (Italy).

For this edition, the Lab will be held in collaboration with Cineuropa, one of the leading platforms for European cinema and FRED Film Radio, the official webradio of Venice Film Festival and many more. Participants will be coached by a senior journalist, gaining first-hand insights into the profession and international film journalism.

The Lab is a unique opportunity to participate in a festival with a press accreditation, coached alongside other fellow young journalists! Participants will be able to report on the festival’s activities, interview participating talents, and publish their articles on the MIOB and festivals’ websites.

Thanks to the collaboration with Cineuropa, young journalists will have the opportunity to write reviews, articles, and reports on the films screened and their festival experience. The most outstanding contribution, selected by the committee, will be published on Cineuropa, offering its author special recognition for their talent and commitment.

Through the collaboration with FRED Film Radio, participants will also have the opportunity to share their festival experience or produce a film review to be broadcast on the platform.

Participants will train, learn new skills, watch films, meet people and… have a lot of fun!

The project includes in-person attendance at one of the promoting festivals:

➤ Les Arcs Film Festival (15-19 December 2026, France)
➤ Trieste Film Festival (15–20 January 2027, Italy)

We are looking for 12 young Europeans eager to learn journalistic techniques focused on the cultural sector — especially in cinema!
