In recent years, including the 2025 edition, SCANORAMA has continued to expand its geographical reach, taking place in 10 Lithuanian cities and strengthening its connection with regional audiences while maintaining high curatorial standards.
At the heart of SCANORAMA are its two competition programmes, focused on emerging European short and feature-length filmmakers. Selected by an international jury of industry professionals, the awarded films receive financial prizes and increased international visibility, supporting the next generation of European cinema.
Beyond screenings, SCANORAMA offers a rich cultural and educational programme, including thematic retrospectives, special previews, discussions, and in-depth conversations with filmmakers. The industry platform SCA Directions has become an important meeting point for professionals, hosting masterclasses and talks with internationally recognised cinema figures.
November 5–22, 2026, SCANORAMA will take place in 10 Lithuanian cities, continuing its long-term mission to present high-quality European cinema and to cultivate an informed, engaged, and curious audience.
