MIOB Workshop 2025

Every year, MIOB brings together its members in workshops to exchange experiences, share best practices, and grow together.

This year, we discussed the following topics:

"Two years ago, the #miob festival network addressed the topic of diversity in a workshop. At that time, the focus was on “gender, diversity, and intersectionality” in the programming and organization of film festivals. This year, we focused on the topic of diversity in relation to accessibility. This type of “training” is hugely beneficial to all festivals in the network—on the one hand, it provides up-to-date theoretical input on the topic, and on the other, participants take away practical instructions based on the experiences of their own festival work. The on-site exchange and the jointly developed practices have a lasting effect and encourage participants to optimize their own festivals."
