synopsis

In close proximity to her protagonist, Slava Doytcheva tells of the complex emotions that adult children have to cope with when they are not accepted by their parents. Of the roller-coaster of emotions between hope for recognition and anger, disappointment and self-hatred. Of the desire to just run away; but where to? An impressively simple and effectively implemented emotional panorama featuring closely observed body language and a carefully choreographed camerawork.
